The Virgin Islands Prison Project recorded their own version of Calls From Home, sending shout-outs and holiday greetings to loved ones in prison in Virginia.

In September of 2008, over 100 men were shipped from the Virgin Islands to prisons in Virginia. As the community fights to bring their family members home, the Virgin Islands Prison Project has teamed up with Thousand Kites to help organize local community events and now produce their own Calls From Home holiday radio broadcast.
