We learn about a Thousand Kites, a media-arts initiative designed to
spark a national dialogue about the criminal-justice system in the U.S.
through the power of radio, theater, video, web, and community
campaigns.Description:

A growing coalition of criminal justice
reform activists are fighting for change and they're doing it through
music, theatre, and audience participation. The group is called a
Thousand Kites. It's a nationwide project that enables the families of
prisoners to educate the public about problems within the criminal
justice system, one community at a time.

Featuring: Thousand Kites participants and organizers including Elsie Grey.
