Thousand Kites partner the American Friends Service Committee is hosting the National STOPMAX Campaign Conference May 30-June 1, 2008 in Philadelphia, PA.  

STOPMAX Campaign: To
promote and support a national movement to end the use of solitary
confinement and related forms of torture in US prisons. Campaign work
is realized through grassroots organizing, research, public education,
