Cedric Dean, who is incarcerated at U.S.P Big Sandy in Kentucky is the author of 10 books. A few of them, including "How to Stop Your Children From Going to Prison," are available for purchase on Amazon.com. All of the proceeds from this book will benefit the Thousand Kites Project.

"This Country has become mired in an intense case of parental neglect
that is completely misguided. At a time when babies are having babies,
and our youth are killing each other, we're bogged down in chasing the
American Dream. For example:Most Children grow up on their own. Their
parent or parents go to work in the morning, and return in the evening.
So when they come home from school, they're alone until the evening
time. There's no parental guidance – they're on their own most of the
time. It's not because that's what the parents wants. He or she must go
to work to pay the bills."
