Thousand Kites has teamed up with the Guild of Outsider Writers to create audio files of prisoner poetry.

Over the years, Thousand Kites has received hundreds of poems and essays from incarcerated men and women. The Guild of Outsider Writers is now working with Thousand Kites to making recordings of this writing.

A special thanks to David Blaine for connecting the two groups. Members of the Outsider Writers have volunteered their time to read the poems on the Kites StoryLine. Hear the recordings on the StoryLine Prisoner Poetry page, and hear a sample here:
