We are excited to announce a new Thousand Kites site in Louisville, KY. Kites is a multi-media arts project created to spark a dialogue about the criminal justice system.
The project uses film, theater, radio, and the web
to explore the criminal justice system and bridge racial, cultural, and geographic
divides between stakeholder communities. Our highly
flexible set of tools has been used in communities such as
Richmond, VA and Jackson, MS, Asheville, NC and rural Kentucky.

Let's get started in Louisville:
It's easy to get involved with Thousand Kites in Louisville. We've set-up an online radio station that shares stories and concerns of Thousand Kites participants from across the country–just like you. You can call into our answering maching, anytime, and tell us your story about the criminal justice system. Be sure to let us know where your calling from. We will add it to our online radio station and interactive map.
